Resume Pineapple currently offers résumé matching to a job description using AI (Artitifical Intelligence)-driven analysis. In the future, we plan to expand our services to empower users to take full ownership of their career.

2. Who Is Eligible to Use the Service?

Our service is available only to users located within the United States. You must be at least 18 years old to use the service. By using Resume Pineapple, you represent and warrant that you are 18 or older. We are not compliant with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA), and individuals under 18 may not use this service.

3. How Is Account Registration Handled?

An account is required to use our service. Accounts can be created for free without a credit card. Registration requires a username and password, and we send a one-time verification code to your email to confirm your login.

4. What Are the User Obligations and Responsibilities?

Users are expected to use the service solely for uploading resume and job descriptions. Any attempt to generate harmful or abusive content is strictly prohibited. Misuse of the service may result in account suspension or termination.

Prohibited Uses and Content: You agree not to:
• Upload content that is unlawful, hateful, harassing, defamatory, obscene, or otherwise harmful.
• Submit content you do not have the lawful right to use or that violates any third-party rights (e.g., copyrights, trademarks, privacy rights).
• Access or attempt to access our systems by any automated means (e.g., scraping, data mining) without our express permission.
• Use the service for fraudulent or misleading purposes.
• Operate more than one account per user.

5. What Intellectual Property Rights Are in Place?

Resume Pineapple reserves all applicable rights to the content on our website and service. However, any output generated by our service may be used by the user in any way that enhances their career, provided such use does not detrimentally affect Resume Pineapple.

We utilize third-party AI services in our platform, and we make no claims regarding the absolute accuracy or reliability of any generated resume. While we strive for accuracy, AI may produce hallucinated or inaccurate content. Use the service at your own risk.

7. What Are the Payment Terms?

Users may subscribe to enhanced services on a voluntary basis. Subscription terms are chosen by the user (monthly, quarterly, or annually) and are nonrefundable, except as explicitly provided. Refund requests can be made by emailing support@resumepinapple.com.

Recurring Billing: Your chosen subscription plan will renew automatically at the end of each billing period. You must cancel prior to renewal to avoid being charged for the next cycle.

No Partial Refunds: Subscription fees are nonrefundable if you cancel during a billing cycle. You will continue to have access to the service until the end of your paid term.

Dispute Resolution (Billing): Any billing disputes must be sent via email to support@resumepinapple.com. We will address them on a case-by-case basis.

Payments are processed through Stripe. By using our service, you agree to Stripe's terms and conditions. We do not store any payment information on our servers.

Upgrading Subscription: Upgrading your subscription will result in a prorated charge for the remaining days in the current billing cycle. The new subscription will take effect immediately, and the prorated amount will be charged to your payment method.

Downgrading Subscription: Downgrading your subscription will take effect at the end of the current billing cycle. You will retain access to the higher-tier features until the end of that cycle.

8. How Are Modifications to the Service or Terms Handled?

We reserve the right to modify these terms or the service at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email, while non-material changes (such as minor verbiage adjustments) may be made without prior notice.

Future Feature Changes: We may add, modify, or remove features at any time to improve the service. These changes may significantly alter existing functionality.

9. What Is the Process for Terminating or Suspending Accounts?

If a user abuses the AI or fails to adhere to these terms, we reserve the right to cancel their subscription without refund or close their account (for both free and paid tiers). Affected users will be notified by email.

10. What Governing Law and Dispute Resolution Methods Will Be Used?

Any disputes will be governed by the laws of the United States. Disputes arising from users located outside the United States fall outside the scope of these terms and may result in immediate termination of access.

Arbitration and Class Action Waiver: You agree that any and all disputes or claims arising out of or relating to these terms shall be resolved exclusively by binding arbitration on an individual basis. You expressly waive any right to participate in class actions, class arbitrations, or representative actions. The arbitration shall be administered by a recognized arbitration provider (e.g., AAA) in the United States, and the allocation of arbitration fees shall be determined by the applicable rules.

Currently, our service does not include third-party tools or links. We reserve the right to add such services in the future.

13. How Is User-Generated Content Handled?

At present, our service does not support user-generated content beyond the upload of resume and job descriptions.

14. AI Limitations and No Guarantee of Employment

Our service uses artificial intelligence to generate content. The outputs may contain inaccuracies or errors. We do not warrant the validity or reliability of these outputs, nor do we guarantee that use of our service will secure a job, an interview, or any other form of employment.

15. Force Majeure

We will not be liable for any delay or failure to perform resulting from causes outside our reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, war, terrorism, riots, embargoes, natural disasters, or internet failures.

16. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Resume Pineapple, its affiliates, officers, employees, and agents from any third-party claims, damages, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of or related to your use of the service, your violation of these terms, or your violation of any rights of a third party.

By using our service, you also agree to our Privacy Policy We employ reasonable organizational, technical, and administrative measures to protect user data against unauthorized access, alteration, or destruction. However, no internet-based system or data transmission can be guaranteed to be fully secure.

You may request permanent deletion of your data at any time by emailing support@resumepinapple.com. We will make reasonable efforts to remove your information unless we are required to retain it for legal or operational reasons.
